Karen has been
delivering Internet related courses since 1993 and was probably
the first person to offer Internet courses
commercially in the UK having trained users
of professional online information systems for companies such as
ICC, Companies
House and CompuServe since 1986 well before the Internet emerged.
In early 1994 Karen was invited to make presentations to both the Chief
Executive of Mercury Communications plc
and the Marketing Team at IBM Hursley about the retrieval and dissemination of information via the
Internet
and its future potential.
More recently Karen has been delivering ESF funded Web Design, eMarketing
and eBusiness Strategy courses
for Business Link in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. Today, Karen is committed to helping start-up businesses
and SMEs gain practical Web Design skills in order to take control of their own websites
and has set up
