Not so long ago
Karen Beesley was approached by a number
of people with a
view to resurrecting The UK Internet User
Group. As a busy working mother of
two young children Karen didn't have a lot of time to dedicate to
such a project
and wasn't sure that it was still needed.
Recently, however, having heard so many horror stories amongst the
start-up businesses and SMEs she's
been working with Karen has decided that something needs to be done. As
a result, therefore, she has set
up
The eBusiness Center For Excellence
and is committed to assisting local companies
acquire a solid
understanding of the issues involved in fully automating their web
based businesses.
Over the coming months
Karen
aims to work with start-up businesses and SMEs in the local area to design
a package of affordable, yet practical,
assistance. If you, or a company you know of has experienced problems
with a member of the local Web Design
community please let us know. Obviously, all correspondence will be
treated in the strictest of confidence but
will be used to help avoid similar problems for other small businesses
in similar circumstances.
